To keep riders safe, please adhere to these rules when riding the Shoreline Explorer:

  • Service animals only
  • Shoes & shirt required
  • Small strollers and carry-ons only
  • No surfboards
  • No motorized vehicles
  • No open alcoholic beverages
  • No smoking

Other rider information:

  • Bike racks are available on Blue 4 and Orange 5 (VIDEO: How to load your bicycle)
  • Vehicles are lift equipped and meet ADA requirements
  • Commuter passes are available for some lines

Route deviations:
Riders requiring route deviation should call 24 hours in advance at (207) 459-2932 to make arrangements.

Fares:
Fares are currently waved for the Shoreline Explorer Blue 4 and Orange 5, but typically different fees are charged depending on the bus or trolley line.
