Dear Shoreline Explorer Supporters and Visitors,

Our preparations are underway for the 2023 season (see below for tentative schedule) which include updating marketing materials, getting our Trolleys out of storage and, most importantly, recruiting and hiring CDL Drivers to operate the BLUE 4 trolleys!

These specially licensed Drivers are the most critical piece of the service because without them we cannot operate the vehicles.

We are looking for as many as (10) additional Drivers and (2) Team Leaders to oversee the day to day operation of the service. If you know of anyone interested in a summer driving job, please send them our way! We offer competitive wages, flexible hours and sign on bonuses.

We will be actively recruiting for these positions through the end of April, at which point, a decision will have to be made as to the viability of operating the BLUE 4 trolleys that travel between the Wells/Ogunquit Town Line and Lower Village Kennebunk. This is a 30-mile route that travels along Crescent Beach, Wells Beach, Wells Harbor and the Kennebunk Beaches.

We thank you for your patronage and support and we hope to see you all on June 24, 2023.

Our sincerest wishes for a successful season!

Deb Paradis
Assistant Transportation Director
York County Community Action

The tentative date for the 2023 Shoreline Explorer season will begin on June 24th.  We will be operating 7 days/week from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  All (5) of the BLUE 4 trolleys will travel from the Ogunquit town line (at the Majestic Regency Resort) to Lower Village, Kennebunk with stops at Wells Beach, Wells Harbor and the Kennebunk Beaches.

The Orange 5 shuttle will operate hourly between Sanford and the Wells Plaza with service to the Wells Regional Transportation Center connecting to the BLUE 4 Trolleys at Hannaford in the Wells Plaza.

The BLUE 4 trolleys and ORANGE 5 shuttle will be operating fare free this season.
